Biography:

Ted Carlton is the son of renowned artist and Elder Mignonette Jamie and his father was Brownie Carlton, the cousin of the famous foreman Paddy Carlton. Ted is  the Director of Waringarri Arts, a cultural tour guide and a director of MG Corporation. He has extensive corporate governance experience, having held a number of senior roles with various Aboriginal organisations and government bodies, including the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission (ATSIC).

Ted has an in depth understanding of native title and heritage issues, holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Curtin University and is a qualified alcohol counsellor.
