Brian Robinson's first canvas titled Sowing the Crops and Reading the Stars was selected as the winning artwork in the 2018 Calleen Art Award. Brian is the first Torres Strait Islander artist to have work enter the Cowra Regional Gallery Collection.
Congratulations to Matthew Clarke, whose winning artwork, Lost in Melbourne , will be seen on an art tram running in the streets of Melbourne from now until the end of April 2018.Matthew was one of eight artists chosen from 180 applicants to provide images for the trams which will be launched during the Melbourne Festival.
