This body of work explores the emotional layers we meet in the face of many challenging environmental changes of the contemporary world.
Nada’s works encounters endangered species, “drought and flooding rains”, and concerns about balancing the increasing demand for resources and our need to conserve critical ecologies.
Disappearing: Act reminds us of how the magician creates a surprise recovery. The question in the work is “How we can create our own magic?"
Nada’s work discloses stories of our landscape and waterways with sensibility for urgency to conserve within an art-science collaborative framework. Her process reflects on story held in our social histories and our need to respect, work together to care for country.
